Driving
Learning
Hi, I’m Alea – your qualified driving instructor. I hold:
- A Working With Children (WWC) Check
- First Aid Certification
- Over 10 years’ experience working with learners of all ages, including those with special needs, anxiety, and international backgrounds.
- A deep focus on defensive driving and learner psychology.
My Approach:
I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” lessons. Every student is unique, so every lesson is built around your comfort level and goals. Whether you’re a first-time learner or converting your overseas licence, I’ll help you feel safe and empowered.
Driving in WA
Learning to drive in Western Australia requires knowledge of unique local laws like:
- Roundabout rules and indicator use
- Maximum speed limits in school zones (40 km/h during designated hours)
- Mobile phone usage laws (strictly prohibited unless hands-free)
- Proper merging on freeways (zip merge technique)
- Learner logbook requirements: 50 supervised hours minimum
We’ll cover all of this in your training!
